In Praise of Flowers
Tulip
Curtsy of the Tulip
Tulips are classic and favoured flower that are adored by many for centuries as being known for perfection, deep love, and her captivating looks of simplicity.
With all of her sentiments and meanings how could she, the delicate tulip, receive the individual love and support she deserves?
Her light stems and top-heavy bulb make wilting almost inescapable. The vessel was adapted to allow Tulip to gently lean towards her support as she withers.

About:
In Praise of Flowers is a tribute to the last moments of life that cut flowers offer us, by exploring their shapes, stories and symbols.
It is a research in nine chapters dedicated to nine different flowers: the Peony, an impressionist muse, the fragrant Lavender, the majestic Hydrangea, the Asian Orchid, the showstopper Lily, the delicate Tulip, the Narcissus and its reflection, the solemn Rose and the frail Baby's Breath.
