Story
In a Chinese literary allusion, there was a golden toad that harmed people. It was defeated by a Taoist immortal, Liu Hai, causing it to lose a leg as a result. In order to seek atonement, the three-legged golden toad swallowed the treasures and followed Liu Hai to go from door to door to spit out treasures from its tummy to help the poor. Since then, people believed that when a three-legged golden toad comes to your house, it brings wealth to the family.
Purpose
In Feng Shui practice, the Three-legged toad helps to bring wealth.
